Text Select .click is a browser extension for selecting text with hyphens, dashes, minus signs, and other symbols.

Available in the extension stores for Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.

Double-click to select word(s).
To include symbols, type them below
Show a COPY button near your selection.
Click 'sound' button to enable audio effect
Hover over link text, then click the bar below it to select the word and any matching symbols.
The bar becomes a COPY button below the selected text.
Hold Option (Mac) or Alt (Windows) while double-clicking a link to select the word together with any matching symbols.
Add sites where the extension should not run.
Up to 30 sites (specific URL path or whole domain).
Treat "-" in "include symbols" as all hyphen variants.

Text Select .click is a browser extension for Chrome, Edge, and Firefox that helps you select hyphenated and symbol-separated text more easily.

It also adds a Copy button and a Selection bar for selecting text inside links.

Why I built Text Select .click

I built Text Select .click to make selecting hyphenated and symbol-separated text feel simpler and more natural in the browser.

Since macOS and Windows do not provide this kind of configuration, I created an extension to help people on both platforms.
